Reintroduction
The gradual inclusion of foods with a higher histamine content back into the diet after the elimination period.
Reintroduction is a key phase in the management of histamine intolerance. After a successful period of the elimination diet, when the organism has calmed down and the symptoms have subsided, foods that were previously excluded are gradually and systematically reintroduced. The goal is to find out which specific foods and in what quantities cause problems, and to compile the broadest and most varied tolerable menu.
